It was an all-new, all-different Playpark All-Stars leg for the Assault Fire Pro Tour in Zamboanga!
Even the heavy rains and blackout problems couldn’t stop the teams who arrived at RMR I-Café in Zamboanga City for the latest regional leg of Assault Fire’s ProTour tournament. Hours of grueling matches produced one of the more exciting matches we’ve seen in the All-Stars: Team RMR vs Team Tugbungan.
Team RMR and Team Tugbungan met in the finals of the ProTour Zamboanga leg, and both teams showed great promise. The teams were neck and neck, neither side wanting to give the other the advantage. But in the end, it was Team Tugbungan who was the better team, defeating Team RMR and becoming Zamboanga Representative of Assault Fire ProTour!
An interesting observation: Zamboanga players love their AUGs and AR15’s. The tournament-favorite AK12 was absent from the Zamboanga leg, which was a nice change of pace and showed that the players are willing to experiment with their gear.
The All-Stars Finals looms on the horizon, and we can’t wait to see who will take the ProTour crown!
