PlayPark All-Stars 2024 General Rules

The following rules apply to all PlayPark All-Stars 2024 competitions organized by PlayPark Inc. In addition to these general regulations, each participating game’s competition has its own set of rules, which can be found on their respective official game websites and social media pages

1. General

1.1 Administration & Announcements

1.1.1 Individuals authorized by Playpark Inc. to administer the competition based on its rules and regulations will be referred to as “admins” or “officials”. The collective body of all admins will be termed the “administration”.

1.1.2 Any official announcements or statements made on Playpark Inc.’s official platforms, including its website and fan page, serve as official communication regarding the competition.

1.1.3 Official announcements and statements from officials supersede the following rules in the interest of fairness. In cases of conflicting declarations, the most recent official statement holds authority.

1.2 Participants & Teams

1.2.1 Any real person with a valid Playpark account, unless officially banned, is eligible to participate in the competition and will be referred to as a “participant”. Groups of participants forming a team to meet the minimum required number will be recognized as a “team”.

1.2.2 Team and participant names must not contain obscene, vulgar, or offensive content. Admins reserve the right to determine the acceptability of chosen names, with failure resulting in penalties such as disqualification, suspension, or permanent ban.

1.3 Commitments

1.3.1 Participants acknowledge their obligation to comply with the rules, official announcements, and decisions made by officials.

1.3.2 The administration reserves the right to modify the rules at any time without prior notice.

1.3.3 Respectful conduct towards officials and other participants is mandatory. Any form of insult or unfair behavior will result in penalties.

1.3.4 Teams must adhere to the official competition schedule and ensure availability during designated times.

1.3.5 Purposely losing games is strictly prohibited.

1.3.6 Tournament participants hereby grant Playpark Inc. the right to use their name, likeness, and performance in the tournament for promotional or any public consumption purposes, including but not limited to advertising, marketing materials, and social media content.

1.4 Gaming Equipment

1.4.1 Necessary gaming peripherals will be provided by the administration.

1.4.2 Tournament participants may bring and set up approved personal equipment, including keyboards, mice, headphones, and mouse pads unless prohibited in specific legs.

2. Teams & Players

2.1 Team Size A team must consist of at least three to five participants, or the minimum number stipulated in the game tournament mechanics, whichever is applicable.

2.2 Lineup Info Teams must provide the administration with requested information, including full legal names, game/membership account details, and contact information of team members, and the respective captains.

2.3 Team Management

2.3.1 Teams must designate a Team Captain who will handle all decisions for the team.

2.3.2 New members may only be added during the competition if they have not played for another team and will undergo review by the administration.

2.3.3 Changes to team data must be communicated to admins promptly by the designated Team Captain

2.3.4 Change of the team’s captain require confirmation from all existing team members.

2.3.4 Administration will consider decisions made by the team captain as final for the entire team.

2.4 Substitution

2.4.1 A participating team is permitted to have one (1) substitute player, who must be declared during the pre- registration period.

2.4.2 Substitutes must not be members of other teams or have played for another team in the same or higher stage of the competition.

2.4.3 Additional limitations on substitutions may be outlined in the competition’s rules.

3. Schedule & Punctuality

3.1 Game times The official schedule, including match times, will be announced on Playpark and its respective games’ digital and social media platforms.

3.2 Rescheduling Match rescheduling is permitted only under exceptional circumstances with confirmation from the administration.

4. Rule Violation & Punishment

4.1 Punishments Violation of rules or guidelines from officials may result in penalties for teams or participants, determined by the administration.

4.2. Possible Punishments
 Default loss for a game or match.
 Temporary or permanent ban from the competition or other Playpark Inc. events

4.3. Rule violations in other tournaments Serious violations may also result in the banning of participation in any other game tournaments under PlayPark Inc.

5. Prize Money Distribution

5.1 Payment Prize money transfers will be handled during the event or through bank transfer to the registered team captain. The captain is responsible for distributing shares to team members.

5.2. Criteria Prize money will be awarded to players who fully comply with the requirements to receive the reward.

6. In-game Prizes

6.1 Item Restriction Item rewards are Account/Character-bound unless declared tradable.

6.2 Awarding PlayPark Inc. reserves the right to withhold and not distribute any prizes to teams that have been disqualified.

6.3 Awarding Schedule Prizes will undergo a processing period of 7 to 14 working days after the event, or they may be awarded on the same day depending on the specific game tournament.

7. Semi Finals and Finals

7.1. All qualified participants who will make it to the Semi Finals of their game’s tournament are required to secure a gaming license from the Games and Amusement Board. As part of the licensing process, mandated by the Philippine government, a drug test is also required. This is in preparation for the Final stage of the competition.

7.2. All qualified participants who will make it to the Finals of their game’s tournament will be required to secure a valid passport with an expiration date of no less than one year from the start of Playpark All-Stars 2024.

7.3. Should the overall tournament winner(s) be required to attend further competitions after the National Championship, and if a participant fails to meet the travel and competition requirements, a substitute representative will be allowed to replace the participant, provided that they fulfill the requirements and receive full endorsement from the team captain.

7.4. A maximum of 2 members will be allowed for this substitution process.

7.5. Should 3 or more members of the country representative team fail to comply with the requirements, the chance to travel and compete internationally will be forfeited and will fall to the next qualified team which is the tournament’s overall runner-up.

8. Legal Process Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively through the tournament’s internal dispute resolution mechanisms, and recourse to external legal proceedings is prohibited. These rules and guidelines are subject to change at the discretion of the administration. Participants are advised to stay updated with official announcements.
