It was a Saturday that was quite literally jam-packed with surprises and fun at the AF ProTour Nueva Ecija leg!
Bits Computer Center literally could not contain the number of gamers and fans who dropped by this weekend to watch and participate in the AF ProTour 2015 Nueva Ecija leg, so we’re both thankful for your outstanding support and patience.
One of the nice surprises of the day was the winner of our King of the Hill: a 10-year-old girl named Jenna Marie Serrano who defeated opponents twice her age to become what we called the “Princess” of the Hill! She was shy and kept quiet all throughout the event, hiding the fact that she came from a family of gamers and have been playing Playpark’s games ever since she was little. Her opponents underestimated her, and her amazing skills netted her the King of the Hill crown!

In the main tournament, the finals came down to Team THI.Highlights and Team 5KAS, who gave us a showdown we won’t soon forget. Both teams played the closest AF matches we’ve seen so far! But in the end, it’s who wants the regional championship more than anything, and it was Team 5KAS who came through and defeated Team THI.Highlights in two games to become AF’s Nueva Ecija regional champ!

Team 5KAS’s members come from the far reaches of the Philippines (some of them even came from Olongapo and Tuguegarao!) and some of them are legends in their own right, like Rowel and Arjay who were members of TeamFT who placed 2nd in the K.O.S. finals at Level Up! Live 2012.
