Now that the dust has settled, it’s time to shine the light at the true heroes on the battlefield – Special Force 2’s first team Philippines – Wargods Rebirth. Out of more than 164 contenders, national born winners rise to claim ultimate glory at the Road to Taiwan Championship. Meet the boys that make up Team Wargods Rebirth.

How was the team formed?
Kevin “[CG]ShwiQui”: ….Dapat hindi ako kasali dito kasi bumuo  na talaga ng sariling team ang mga kasama ko. It wasn’t really planned since my friends already made a team of our own. But since some of them became inactive, they took me in and we formed a team that’s even stronger.

Do you guys hang out? What do you do together?
John “(V)-xYz-(V)”: We take long W A L K s together.

How did you prepare for the tournament?
Kevin “[CG]ShwiQui”: Lagi kaming nagpa-practice kahit kulang kami, tinutuloy pa rin namin ang practice. We also practice on our own. When Wargods took us in, that’s when our practice went to a different level. About a week before the tournament, we hardly got to rest with all the practice that we did.

Any fighting words? Laban
Levin “_Lev””: This is the very first Philippine team. Our team is a simple team with little resources but we have skill in our hearts that will pave the way to world championship!

Any shoutouts?
Kevin “[CG]ShwiQui”: [To the other teams at the world championship] bibigyan naming sila ng magandang laban! Good luck to all the participants.

They face a kind of enemy now – the world. As they go against the top teams from Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Europe, Korea and Japan rally behind the nation’s pride. Go! Go! Go, Wargods Rebirth! Nasa likod ninyo ang buong Pilipinas. Laban!
