    TOURNAMENT FORMAT

    1. Game mode: Party Duel
    • Double elimination is a tournament format where a team/player has to lose twice to be eliminated.
    • There are two brackets:
      • Winners Bracket – where everyone starts.
      • Losers Bracket – if you lose once, you go here.
    • If you lose again in the Losers Bracket, you’re out.
    • The grand finals often feature the winner of the Winners Bracket vs. the winner of the Losers Bracket.
    2. Group Stage

The group stage is usually the first phase of a tournament.

    • Teams/players are divided into groups (Group A, B, C, etc.).
    • Each group plays in a round-robin or mini-league format, meaning everyone plays against each other in their group.
    • Based on the results (wins/losses), the top teams from each group move on to the next stage.

    3. Playoffs

The playoffs are the knockout or elimination stage of the tournament, after the group stage.

    • Usually single or double elimination format.
    • Only the qualified teams from the group stage enter.
    • Matches here are usually more intense since it’s win-or-go-home.

    CODE OF CONDUCT AND PENALTIES

Any form of cheating, hacking, exploiting, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification and possible account suspension. The event team reserves the right to make final decisions regarding any disputes or rule violations.

    DISCONNECTIONS AND TECHNICAL ISSUES

    • Team leaders will first attempt to reach a mutual decision on how to proceed.
    • If an agreement is not reached, the decision of the event team will be final.
    • Only team leaders are authorized to report technical issues during a match.
    • Disconnections occurring after the 15-second mark will not result in a restart; the round will proceed.
    • If one or two players disconnect before the 15-second mark and no casualties have occurred, the round will be restarted.
    • If disconnections occur before the 15-second mark and casualties have already happened, the round will continue and the disconnected players will be considered eliminated for that round.
